AssHull cut holes in the inner roof structure for twin Hella rocker style dome lights, 911 style It's going to be bright in there, better wear your shades.

Went down and picked up a couple gauges from a junkyard here in Phoenix. They didn't have the Tach that I wanted so I'll have to keep an eye out for that still.
thought you were looking for a fuel and temp gauge for a 914?

Have you thought about having the bezels chromed? What about the lenses.... are they plastic or glass? I have a set of 924 gauges that I had the bezels chromed and new glass to replace the plastic lenses. WOW! what a difference and it gave them a new vintage look (IMO). Heres a peak. The fuel gauge is an off the shelf new VDO, I had its bezel chromed as well.

The bezels come off if you carefully pry the lip up around the edge. I think Fastbrit posted some pics earlier in this thread showing the process. John Troia from Anaheim did all the work back when he was still doing gauges.

We are, but apparently they are rarer than hen's teeth. This will suffice for now until we locate the Combi gauge that we really want. Have you thought about having the bezels chromed?
Those look good! But I think we will be sticking with black. Right, AssHull??

Those came out really well. Did you replace the cone shaped plastic with flat glass? I can't tell from the picture but I think those look good. As far as mine go, the lenses are plastic but I hear the glass lenses really make them sharp looking. I might take a look at some glass ones and possibly swap them out. Still debating that. The bezels though I'm going to keep black. I like the look of both but I don't think chrome gauges would really going to go with the rest of the dash. thought you were looking for a fuel and temp gauge for a 914?

Shubee & Monkiboy- The car is pretty rough. The front bulkhead is sorta rusty and the rear cross braces are pretty toasted. The section under the rear window looks good though- if you want that Lee, you can have it for the price of shipping, just let me know how big or small you need it to be. The car is a '64 if it makes any difference to you.

If the Front Trunk Floor you cut out of the 64 is it going in the 67? it dose have a smaller fuse box then the 67? are you changing that?

Sorry for polluting the thread... Shubee- Here is the drivers windshield corner, and inside and underneath the drivers rear crossmember. The winshield corner is totally solid, only surface rust. Tell me how much you would like cut out in both areas.
Monkiboy... you're on deck...
