Weird isn't it?

But credit where it's due Keith  you seem to have  hit the nail on the head! It's got to be working in Croydon that makes you come to conclusions about drag strips...

I can recall when YOU worked in Croydon and told me that in basic terms anything that happened at North Weald didn't count as the quarter mile was not quite a quarter mile long...

But I have never measured North Weald so, I am not about to dispute what you told me as I guess you must have measured it.

To Gene - no offence, I was just having a bit of fun as it 'appeared' to look as though it went downhill. The fact is that's a wild ride and top marks to you!

I never actually worked in Croydon. I was an Editor and employed others to do the work for me. Cheesy

You did get a mean cup of coffee, always delivered at exactly the right time so as to perfectly disguise the fact that you were an hour late,  Grin

I just posted on the "wing" thread, so check it out.

As for my set-up, its a 2276cc, holley 4 barrel, T-04b.

Drives like a dream on the street, runs like a bat outta hell on the track. Better than sex.  Tongue

Yeah, but it was always cold by the time you got there!
Someone had to take over after Hayley left, and what a result - I was even better looking!

Gonna try 1/4 mile one more time this year, weather permitting.
