Sven, we would be honored to have your car racing at SCC!
The best way to travel from Belgium IMO is to take the A1 highway though Germany to Puttgarden, take the ferry to Rødbyhavn, Denmark and proceed to take the bridge from Copenhagen DK to Malmø, SW or the Ferry From Helsingør, DK to Helsingborg, SW. When you take the bridge it´s about 1550km. We drove in one sitting from Oslo - Chimay for EBI this year and used about 21hrs. Last year we went by ferry from Oslo - Fredrikshavn,DK.
IMO it´s better and faster to drive trough Sweden.
It really depends if you like to enjoy the ferry, or drive and get there a bit cheaper and quicker. You may want to check with Vanessa and the other DAS club members wich route they will be taking. If you require further information, PM me and I will do all I can to help!

I would take the A1 through Germany up to Kiel and the ferry to Göteburg . from there it is may be 3 hours to Gardermoen . This ferry travels over night so you save time and have a good trip .
Next weekend you can do some test and tune at Bitburg if you like

Hi Udo,
Its is € 1000 for the Ferry for my T5 + trailer and 3 perons
Next weekend I'm in Italy for a holiday and I have seen their is no test and tune in July in Bitburg, I gues we have to find another solution.
I guess I will have to race you in Gardermoen

I've seen the car in real life last week and it sure looks promising!
Changed a bit when I last saw it @ DDD I think 2 years ago...

The ferry from Frederikshavn to Oslo is only 250 euros less
Next weekend we have a test and tune at Bitburg, i think it is better than holidays
. It looks like that i am not at SCC this year
, you have to wait for Dday

Very wicked car and very nice workmanship!
An observation...
The location of your fuel fitting at the top of the frame head. Have you checked for interference with your tie-rods? I put mine there without thinking, although maybe an inch farther forward, and the tie rod intersected that very point when it arc'd through its travel.
Or is that a rack & pinion steering box mount right behind the fuel fitting?

I love the shock absorber mounts - very well thought out. This car seems to have the contrast of stock bodywork and paint while looking absolutely insane! I'd love to see more of it!
