keith in the ultra vw n°4 in the cal look archive , the one who's talking about bug in31 the last one  Cry Cry
there's a picture of an kg  and you said  terry shepard drove the old ex race shop ghia  , but i found some pictures of the race shop ghia in 85 /86 , and you know that the last bug in was in 83
the car on your picture is very similar , but if you look closely the car has the nostrill and it look like an flipfront with Fast ties in levels of the door  Roll Eyes

and in the middle of 80's it was rick mc garity who's the owner of the car

I criticize not at all the made work keith, on the contrary I am very fond of archives which you proposes us every month.
But I just wanted to make a small research work to see if I knew well my history, here is which is made

Russell, you need to go to the garage and cross examine the wunderbug to find out it's whereabouts between 83 and 86 Grin

if cars could talk! I bet the ghia would be saying "I had a nice rest for 20 years, got put in a container on a boat and then some journo guy gets in me and brakes one of my limbs!"

They are 2 different cars, Terry Shepard & the Race Shop Ghia. I think Doug Berg may have painted Terry's car but I cannot remember for sure. It was in Roger Crawford's shop in the mid 80's painted metallic blue & they unchopped the roof. It was there for a while . When it was @ Roger's it was a very nice race car. It was sold in the late 80's or so & I have not seen it since. hope this helps  Bill
