today i went to the freedy files meeting at ninove, the town of fast freddy from the das club and this some cool pict of cal look and type 3 i've take and the best of show was a 67 ruby red with empi parts & real brm's if you go to the volksworld show you can see this car

BTW: I like the '72 standard beetle. Usually they don't have chrom trim that makes it easy to convert them to pure Lookers – but only a few people seem to like these cars.

Ahh nice... I see spring is comming....    but what happened to the headlight trim on the first one... was it taken of to be painted during the show?

I like the late (68-on) 1200 bugs. They're wonderfully quirky looking with the late body and early bumpers and rear lights. I think they look great with t-bars and maybe early Fuchs wheels...
