McLaren reunion last weekend at Laguna Seca.

Video of the Kiwi “Black Stig” in his 9000cc 800hp 1800lb M8E/F.
He won the Sunday afternoon McLaren race by a straightaway.

Anyway... GREAT picture, Lids. Looks too perfect to be real, but cool nonetheless.

1956 Plymouth Savoy Club Coupe. 13k miles survivor.
1967 Dodge Dart GT. My first car! Bought when I was 12, finally got it back some time ago.
1965 Plymouth Valiant wagon.
1968 Ford F250 Camper Special. The one I use end enjoy the most..

Thanks Fred!

A couple more..

1965 Plymouth Valiant V100. The reason I love old Valiants. This one was a familiar sight in our town when I grew up but suddenly disappeared. 15 years later I found it in storage and took it home. Needs a bit of work but at least I know where it is..

1956 Ford F350 Flatbed. Old Norwegian workhorse. Currently off the road for some rust repairs and a drivetrain change but will soon be back to haul another load.

Cool stuff. I don't care for American cars built after '72, except for the Chevrolet Impala SS and the '98-'12 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. Those are some cool vehicles you've had.

Street VW looks like a perfect day at the Historic car races.
Historic racing is a different type of racing.
Where car owners prefer to remain anonymous and instead celebrate the accomplishments of the original drivers.

The next 2 weekends here on the west coast are the Monterey Pre Reunion and Reunion ending with the Pebble Beach concour.
I'll be there for as long as my vintage race car is race ready.  Wink
My run group includes RSRs, 935s, 962s and others non Porsche GTP cars too.
Looking forward to sharing track time with this crowd at Laguna Seca for 8 sessions over 6 days. Smiley
