I belive that the steel-backed five spokes were made by "Rocket Wheels" but I am not 100% sure.

If you look at the wheels on Teros wheel site, fundamentally, Ets, cal parts, Rockets and Crestlines are all very similar. The way to tell the difference between them is the width of the actual rims compared to the spokes. From the pictures on Teros site, the closest wheel to Aliens is the Rocket. As you look straight on, there is an outer rim, and an inner rim and all these wheels have different widths to these rims, but the Rocket is closest.

Rocket Racing on here not surprisingly has a set of these on his car, he would be able to tell easily! Anders, where are you?

Don't think these are Rockets either.. Rocket wheels don't have round spokes, they have a sharper edge on the spokes.

The top spoke on that ET kind of looks like there is a line in the middle, but they definitely look rounded apart from that. I think on some of these wheels there are unoffical mark 1, 2 or 3 versions which differ slightly?

PS, turtle, did you get my pm on the tach?

I belive that the steel-backed five spokes were made by "Rocket Wheels" but I am not 100% sure.

My good friend Rob from east coast manx has a set of 4 steel backed 5 spokes (non matching as 2 have a lip and 2 don't ) and we have always believed that these were ET's  Undecided Huh

What do you guys think  Huh

I'd love to have a pair of those american torque thrust wheels? Does any one have a spare set?  Wink

I was very close to having a pair shipped over from the US 2 years ago. It was a set of 6" for the rear and narrowed 4.5" for up front.

The last set of wide 5 mag Americans that I know of sold for just about double that $4000 figure...I sold a set in late '89 w/ fresh paint & polish & a new set of tires for $700. Times have changed a bit.

Yes they are, but they dont look just like the originals and the offset is all wrong for our application.

Jim If yours are 14x6 they are the new style Torq Thrust D's The Only early D's they made were 15x6 and 15x7 mine are 15x6 chevy in the front and 15x7 porsche in the rear that were redrilled to chevy pattern if the wheel dose not have the "D" on the Back There the later Style Wheels
