No matter what they go for, they're still ugly wheels. Smiley

i think that if you got them for $12,000 you'd be very lucky, seeing as any old set goes for around $8000......

I can't imagine having the disposable income to be able to afford to spend the equivalent of a brand new small economy car (brand dependent, of course) on a set of wheels... hell, I can't even afford the BRM knock offs, let alone a set of chromies right now.  Lol.  Grin Poverty sucks.
Even if I did have the coin for rims, I don't know if I'd buy aging magnesium rims to actually drive on... I remember reading Andy Spilkoman's article about an exploding BRM that injured him a few years back.

Oh, that's right... well, either way, I'd be reluctant to put many miles on a well-aged set of magnesium rims.  I once flipped a van (non VW) that blew a tire, so I'm a little gun shy on wheel/tire related accidents Grin

I would cut the boxes up and recycle them in my weekly curbside pickup, thus reducing my carbon footprint Grin

I remeber a set of those wheels at the Bergs a while back. If i remeber correctly they are some of the earliest production sets and I believe the Bergs had/have a few sets. Wish I could afford them!
