Just spoke with the Hoff and he sounds in very good spirits. Has feeling in four of his fingers, which is amazing considering.
It sounds like he's going to be out of hospital this weekend! Good news!

Cool, I spoke to him earlier in the afternoon and he was just about to goin in for the last op, I guess it happened then, finally.  Cool

There's a nice nurse there aparently but she's not back on shift until Sunday, I'm betting he has a 'slight relapse'.  Grin

Hi everybody,

First thanks for all the well wishing

just got told that i can leave today, although yesterday i thought i'll be here for a couple more days and a friend brought me a laptop to get online.
I was lucky in that it happend in Oxford as the hospital is one of the leading plastical surgery places in the UK.
If it happend in Portsmouth i would have proberbly woken up with a hook on my arm and a parrot on my shoulder. Grin
I had 3 op's which went well and they made a good job. Have got feeling in 4 fingers and should be able to move them and my wrist ok with some therapy. It'll take a few months but I'll be fit again for spring and next summer.
Good job to get out as well as it's so boring in hospitals apart from flirting with the nurses and i can make to Berlin next week for a few days for my mum's birthday. I've not told her about the missing middle finger yet, so that'll be a suprise  Grin

Always look at the bright side of life

Cheers Frank

Might get harder to express your feelings in traffic without that finger... but it still seems like your well off.. all things considered!  Smiley

Well, I'm sure Martin will be able to tell you how to exercise your wrist...  Cheesy

Great news! Did you get to keep the finger as a spare?
