So, assuming a stock 60's era bug came with 5.60-15 (155) or got a 6.00-15 (165) upgrade, you can see the different diameters and figure out where the gear ratios / horsepower went by adding larger tires.

Looks like the 205/65/15 is about spot on with the 165 80   I think I'm going to change to 215/65/15 or 205/70/15 in the future for my radials, looking at the chart you posted yesterday those two sizes match and I like the way my 215/65/15 M&H's fill the fender. Thanks for posting these Sarge cool info.

Im glad I went with 185/65s all around since they are equivelent to 5.60x15, and they look good too. Good chart.

Thanks, guys.... here's some comparison info on Drag Radials.  Those 205's are SHORT, but are what enabled Darrell Bomgaars to run 12's with a stock geared 4:12 box and a 2017. Shocked
