Hey thanks Johnny and Walter. Glad you like it. Was going to post a thread on in the works, but being that this is a Cal-look forum people get a bit touchy when they see water cooling and turbos! Anyway, I might temp fate and see whether I get some heckling

Yes it is a 915 and it has a Quaife torque biasing diff. I changed the CV outputs to 930 from a Carrrera box, so it now has 930 cv's and axles. Hopefully, they wont break

Thanks Trond. I am building it as a street legal VW. Ok, it's definitely not a street car per se, but it will be street legal. Can't wait to drive it on the street with a parachute sitting on the tail That should get the chavs talking

Maybe you can compete against the Skinne beetle when your car is done  the chute will make for a bad ass look when you blast off down the street  looking forward to follow the progress on this project.

Very nice car Matt! And I like the fact that it is street legal. Keep on with the good work and keep us posted. One question, will you keep the roll cage raw or get it painted? Kind of like the idea of not painting it... but hey... that just me.

I will have the chassis and rollcage powder coated. Cornwall is way too wet to run any kind of raw ferrous metal!
