I remember seeing that car at a few races in the Southwest. Every time I watched, it never seemed to click off a good pass. Maybe I was bad luck

Thanks, Louis... I remember there being a site or program that did that. I'm used to being spoiled by YouTube and embedding it onto forums.

I remember seeing that car at a few races in the Southwest. Every time I watched, it never seemed to click off a good pass. Maybe I was bad luck I seem to remember it running a 10.88 at Sacramento in Super Street about 1997-98. Most of the Super Streeters at the time were running 10.20s-10.40s so he was not too far off pace for a new car. One of my all time favorites for sure.

yes..i also agree..bitchin car..!! i still remember several years ago after getting back to his shop after running some impressive first time out 10:80 passes and he asked me if i wanted a ride...?? WHAT>>>ME? DYNO DON....HELL YES..!! after all ive been weened on fast high performance vw's most of my life so how could i resist the temptataion not to?? so we fire up the beast and head out of his shop(behind fullerton airport)...(onto the same two lane road where the world famous jack sachette crashed his fast fiat some years prior)...we drive about a few blocks and geoff pulls over for us to strap in and buckle up and he looks over at me with this sheepish grin and say to me.."HOLD ON"...so i grabbed the "OH SHIT"dash handle and within a blink of the eye he revs to about 7500+ RPM and sidestepped the clutch and unleashed the incredible horsepower and began power shifting through the gears as i had the biggest smile on my face and was laughing out loud hysterically in my usual dyno don appreciation mode until we "HAD TO" come to a stop after a "mild" 110 pass ....it was such a thrill that from laughing from the excitement i was sore in the stomach for hours later.....i will always remember that ride with geoff just as geoff probabaly remembers that ride with me......the childlike/ hysterical/ smiling/laughing dyno don...LOL

My kind of street car!! Someone know the specs?
Big motor (2387?) with IDAs, spindle mounts with no front brakes, slicks on the back and a full interior - just a mad car. I love it!

Thanks! 10.88 is mad in a street car and it makes me forget about the tail lights. If anyone have more info about the engine he used back then please share. Best rgs BB

I talked to him at vegas this year last, been to his older shop in havasu a few times,he is always happy to down tools for a while to talk some s@@t He has an amazing amount of info stored away in his brain from dynoing so many engines I guess. He has 2 different engines for the car, both fairly mad but one is the true super street race motor and the other is sort of streetable there was a magazine feature a few years ago now on the carmit was on the cover,I think of volksworld so someone should be able to dig it up. cheers richie,uk
