Yes, Keith and streetvw. Those wheels rock!! I like the suede covered ones as well.

That original standard dash is beautiful! Pure VW.

Thanks, Dieds! Smiley

My doors are missing the stock door stops so those pieces of an old harness are used instead.

Cool post Fabs - there are a few sets of "Jet Cockpit" gauges there  Wink Smiley

Indeed, those "jet cockpit" gauges looks like my speedwell weston gauge.

love it!

I'd like to see more pics from different angles of the EMPI padded dash topper. I have one to be installed into my 67.....
It seems that when I see these installed, the HL & wiper switches are very close to the pad. Almost looks crowded. Is this a poor install of the pad, or is that just the way it is?

And here is mine. notice the center defrost vent cut out...

Thank you Speedwell. Now is your headlight and wiper switch very close to the dash pad? It almost looks like the pad is sitting right on top of the switches.

I want to put one on my dash Fabs, it's ok to have access to the 2 switches ?

That's cool, I like how you put the trim on the right gauge, did you cut the og trim to fit the gauge ?

Hey, I like that topper dash pad.  You guys think that will work on a 70?  Of course without the full dash pad on it.  Is the dash the same as the other years?  I think it is right?  Lemme know Fabs.

I have a '72 that is exactly the same as yours.  I have 5 ugly ventholes in total and the empi dashpad covers them all!  It fits well, so I guess there is absolutely no difference is a 66 or 72 dashboard...  go for it!  Grin
