Hey Diederick, I have 145/65 at the front and 195/65 on the back, but I will chance that for 205's
My brothers car getting a total paint job, and a hot engine is comming.
He will also be there @ the 6th with his beetle.
Cheers,
Sander

that's the business
and paint looks tight indeed!
i was just wondering, changing to 145/80 and 205s would change a lot for the look! what kind of 205s you getting?? my brother still owes me a pair off rear tyres, and i feel tempted though i wanna burn my 165s first
- but that would require a hotter engine
plus, i'd have to get my outer ring of the rims repainted as the balancing lead has chipped off my paint...

I will put 205/70 at the back for a classic look.
I have a pair of 145/80 Firestone's, but I like the way it is now.

Alright, long awaited but well received by all. The dutch scene met up for some constructive talks yesterday at the Beetle Winterfest (KWF), also honorary invitee (
) Dokke cared to spent some time with us.

Small indeed, but...
I loveddddd your car before you lowered it!! 10 times more than i do now (sorry)
Sell your narrowed beam and some options, then get some decent tyres are you're sorted
Let us know Martijn!!

Narrowed beams are for dorks!
Quote
In your opinion ::)I run a narrowed beam with dropped spindles and discs, nothing rubs, and it rides nice,it,s not a roofrack,it,s not got neons, and it,s not got a hot water cylinder hanging off the window
,(sorry swamp cooler)to me a narrowed beam is something the slammed boys came up with ,that has a useful application on a hot motored fast car,to make fitting good brakes and dropped spindles without having clearance issues, easy...........Some things aren,t worth getting hung up on.

Hello
I looked for pictures of my car but I don't have any pictures on the computer! But it is a oval window, 1957, us specification (with bullet turn signals on the front fenders and coral red color. Wheels are flat 4 BRM's. Currently I am running a new 1600cc with dual kadrons and a berg linkage (I hate the original kadron linkage). I bought my oval window fron Ron at Classic Car Centre Brabant. He imported the car in 1997 from california. In 1998 I could buy the car, because Ron wanted a porsche (I believe). First he wanted the oval window to become a shop car, to put next to his stand on the vw events. The picture I posted is from Nao Fuijta, the guy who works at flat4 in Toyko and is in the DKP club. It is the same model and wheels!! And when I saw this car I knew cal-look was the way to go!! First I wanted to paint the car this color, but coral red is the original color for my car. So that was the color to be!! This weekend I will post the pictures!!
Greetings

Hi there guys - I'm from England too and I have been chatting to a friend of mine Dean Bradley who owns a rather cool Slammed blue and white Devon Camper that was featured in UltraVW a while back and he was tell me that he knows a few of you Dutch guys
and he was telling me that a few of you are planning the same trip as me this year ie Bad Camberg and Bugin and maybe a visit to the factory
So I was thinking seeing as me and my good friend Gav (member G77) are planning on making a small detour through Amsterdam
on our way to Camberg - How about we meet up with some of you guys and Cruz down to Bad Camberg together

I'm going to Bad Camberg. Went in 99, 03, and I'll be there in 07...
Hopefully with my own 51 this time, but I'm not sure if that's gonna happen...
