To solve the bracing issue at the back of the car, instead of using tube,Chris has integrated the bracing into the rear firewall, using steel sheet for the outer sections of the firewall, welded to both the body and cage. The body is super rigid now

I will let you know if I find anything that is suitable
I got my front valance from a company called Auto Craft engineering (
www.autocrafteng.co.uk
) ,it is top quality and the guys there are very helpful,I am sure they will supply a single skin rear valance if you ask them.

I got the front and rear valances for my Oval from Auto Craft too, they asked me at the time if I wanted the standard two exhaust cutouts or a single one in the middle, or in my case, none at all

Managed to get a bit of work done today.
Mocked up the controls (then had a little sit in the "office"
),everything feels good

Picked up an old gas pedal made by Cosmic, its nice and narrow(and light
),gonna give it a clean up and see how it works with the stock roller pedal.
