I run 215/65/15's with my erco's I have had to use 5mm spacers to stop them rubbing on the spring plates, but you may be okay with Fuchs.

Im also running 215/65-15 on Gasburners. Works very well, but needs as 63ragtop points out a spacer to prevent it from hitting the spring plates. I ended up using a 1.5" spacer which puts the tires just right in my book :-)

Just add some type three drums and you will have both clearance and better brakes.

Brian P on here runs M + H on the back of his 67 bug I'm sure he would have short axels the same as yours

http://cal-look.no/lounge/index.php/topic,4028.msg58369.html#msg58369

think he runs early sixes as well barry

He was featured in Ultra a few months ago may be worth looking out a copy

If you don get it I'm sure I've a copy knocking about. I'll have a look later

i think they are the same size as Trond Dahl

Ron, that was for the front runners....
Try webster or robinson race cars, both can get m+h cheaper than dealing with m+h direct your self
