Thanks for the pictures, Sarge! I really love Allen Wiess' revamped '67. Looks tough. Sorry, I missed the party! Went to a (new) local VW show less than 30 minutes from home. Between 200 and 250 VWs showed up, including a bunch of rides from Der Blitzkrieg Kafers, based in nearby Long Beach. (That's Pip's Split in the picture, by the way). The location, overlooking the ocean, was perfect! Temps in the high-70s (27C). The drive home along the ocean was just the best, too. I wish I could go to the DKK drive on Sunday; but I have another show (Sport Compact, yuk) to cover in San Diego. Have fun guys! |

Yep, Dave's BBQs can't be beat That Ford 500 sounded wicked!!!! The GT 40 doing a burnout in reverse was crazy too!!!! It was good we just did solo passes because a couple of times I was using the whole street After the fun at Dave's place we all headed over to Irwindale Speedway to watch some roundy round and figure 8 racing.............. what a day  |

Thanks for the pics, Sarge. It looks like your camera is working well again because most of the pics are straight; not sideways and shit  That 67 Fairlane 500 looks bad and Allens car looks mean too..gotta love spun aluminum wheels. Did anyone get video? |
