Ok, so I was looking at an old mag with Bill Clarkson's Iguana in it.
The pic below shows both Idas facing the same way with intake runners almost straight up and down. Also has a bridge part between the top part of the manifold.      What kind are these?

So I was thinking.  How many different manifolds have been made for VW's with IDA'S?

How about post up some pics of what ya got?

I have a pair of Tall polished Scat ,Deano short manifolds  and a pair of no name short ones.   Any Idea who these no name ones were sold by?

They look to be IECO manifolds. Prabably sold by several brands back in the days.

Most of the treuhafts don't have a name to them, so you might have a pair!

I do have a pair of the Treuhaft intake manifold for 48 ida I found in the garage as well as a pair of the early Gene Berg from Trenton WA . A pair of Scatt as well I will have to dig some more in my junk as we are in the process of moving so now all these parts are surfacing in my garage I did not know I had.

Yep time to look for a bigger piece of property not enough room now. Looking east of us found a lot of nice houses with 1 acre with room to build a 6 to 8 cars garage shop + building a nice museum for all of my stuff and room for my three trailers. Now I can collect more cars since I will have the room. As soon as the house is on the market I will post on the forum never know someone maybe interested in having there own museum LOL. Should also be nice to do a pre Bug O Rama show. We also had talked about doing a special invite car show in the back yard.

   Thanks

Frenchy,
I asked you this the last time I saw you, but I didn't follow up...........
I don't suppose you have a pair of short deano or racetrim 48 ida manifolds you would be willing sell me? I need them for the restoration of my split, ol' buddy.
Or I might be interested in the Gene Berg manifolds. I used to have a pair of Gene's magnesium manifolds.......sigh!
I'll buy all my flowers from your sister..........aaah, I'll buy from her regardless. <grin>
I think Ron Fleming is looking for a pair also.

I've built more than my share of 48 IDA motors back in the day, but I never knew there were so many different manifolds made. Interesting thread!

I will look and see if I have a pair of Race Trim in my stash of junk. If I do I will trade you for a new pair of Tall Skat Trak for IDA'S.

     Take care
