well i'm dropping me engine bits off on sunday, so I should have a new bigger engine by Easter! That will piss the neighbours off. I am also considering getting a stainless stinger made.

I'm having my cousin Geoff Hart build me a nice little 2387, I can't have Geoffs name on my front window and only run a 1641.

Bug:
- Get a (small) shift light in
that would be my plan as well. i have the linelock light installed, but i never really understood the use of this light... you push the button the lock is on, no need for a light IMHO, but it would make a nice descrete shiftlight. i just might need one in the future. when i sort out some other bits and bops on the car this winter.

Totally agree... Just as useful as a parking brake light... maybe somebody could start selling the "you don't have an engine in your car" light.. you know.. just in case.

Fit a nice pair of 48's with some hefty chokes Some nice heads - CB Ultra Mag plus. Up the CR to 9.5:1 Its tempting to slip an FK89 in while I am at it Then I had better start looking at mid-mounts and h/d engine and 'box mounts No rest for the wicked

I have one off those and it is on all the time now. really annoying as it means i can't drive the fastback. no idea on what could work as a shiftlight. i was thinking about your average autometer thingy and just connect the small light to that. maybe Rool has allready an idea on that one.

Picked up new 82mm balanced CB crank yesterday, need to pull motor and decide on barrel size before i smuggle the case into work for machining What i had'nt planned on was repainting the roof but rolled the car out the garage yesterday for 1st time this year to find the roof covered in micro blisters No damp in there and paint is 6 years old so can only think its been over the cold spell a few weeks ago
