Just when you think you know them all....

I've never seen this picture before, note the Treuhaft sticker on the rear apron.

Yes, I have another picture with the Treuhaft sticker, but it's b/w only. But it's dated October 1975, taken @ OCIR.

for those who have the latest ultra vw , there's a very nice colored picture of the LG II, ned bug II and IP II , and the photo was taken at the englishtown dragstrip  and it the text keith said that picture was taken  throught the windscreen of the race central(empi tour bus)
[ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ]

and i was remembering that picture of IP II ,NED bug II and LG II + lil screamin zonker ,and if you look closely in the background it's the race central bus and there's also 2 guys wearing LEE ELIMINATROR pants(may be the schleys bros) , and the driver of IP II wasn't darrell vittone , because EMPI was sold to FDY/ LEE ELIMINATORS at that time and it was jim carlson who was the driver

In the pic of the cars from behind , it looks NED BUG 2 has some damage . The rear fender is out of shape and the wheel looks buckled . I remember Denny Grove told me he crashed the Ned Bug 2 , but it was only a gentle scrape down the wall . Maybe on this day ?

Which is why it didn't say that Darrell Vittone was the driver.. it just says the car was made famous by him and then later driven by Jim Carlson. It's cool to put two different photos of the same time and place.  Smiley
