Cool to see your project Kalle, I feel the urge to pick up my new case one of these days, so I can get started.
BTW are you repainting the whole car except the rear apron? :-p
Oh, I forgot to mention that the other small project was repainting the whole car except the rear apron :) I knew someone was going to comment on the tape.
BTW, here is my gearbox builder Kevin and his brother Greg.(Kevin on the right) I popped over to say hello and to pick up my new gearbox in September. Kevin packs his boxes really well and I had no problems bringing the box home to Norway.

It`s about time for a little update, sorry for keeping you waiting!
Well, what`s new... ordered the new MSD digital 6 ignition system last Friday and received a e-mail from vwparts.net on Monday saying that they have sent it. Today (Wednesday) the UPS delievery guy called because he was standing outside my front door with the package. Dam, one and a half working day after it was shipped from US!!
I did also pick up the Burners on Sunday and I have to say that my friend Jørn "Knastenrad und Knotenblech" Tangen did a very impressive job with the paint. A big THANK YOU Jørn! Now it is just up to me to start polishing them. I did also receive the new Kolbenschmidt bearings the other day so things are slowly but steadily coming together here.
Here is a pic of the painted burners and Jørn.
Thanks for reading!

This is what the UPS guy brought with him. Looks quite high tech compared to my old and trusted 009. Well, high tech is not always a bad thing is it....?
Thanks to John @ vwparts.net for excellent service.
Sorry for the bad cell picture.
