Don't get any more 1970s original dual-quiets than the first one ever…

In your opinion, what is the most period correct looking/efficient dual quiet pack you can buy new today?

It's so weird that the current owner of Thunderbird Headers/exhaust products makes a merged single QP but not dual...

What about the Flat4 dual quiet pack? Is that a good product?

The look is good and I'm thinking of getting one for my 1904cc. I heard it's being tucked far from the rear of the car when it's used with a merged header, but for me that will be for use with a 1"3/8 non-merged header (and it seems that they are made for using with a non-merged header : longer tube after the flange).

The Berg dual QPs are really nice. Too bad they don't make them anymore.

I think Dave's car had T-Bird dual QPs, but maybe somebody can verify?

I like the Flat-4 mufflers, but I don't think anybody stateside here in the U.S. sells them.  Plenty of Flat-4 accessories, like the steering wheels and BRMS and what not, but I don't believe anyone here sells their exhaust and engine products...at least not that I'm aware of.

If I remember well you can get it at CSP, but it will cost you a lot to get one shipped to USA...

Here's a couple of scanned pics of my old tullip yellow '70 with a 1 5/8" Berg Phoenix set up.  The Berg set-up always looked meaner IMO because it really tucked the mufflers up into the fender, making the chrome tips level or even pointing slightly downward.   Cool  The red '69 was also mine running a Phoenix 1 1/2" set up.

Sorry for the poor quality of the pics.

I have a BERG set up on my 2275 motor going in the Chop Top.  I tried to put the car back to the early look in the interior, motor, wheels, tires, etc. Getting close!

 - old S&S / Thunderbird I believe.

I would love a similar look on my new car, but I'm pretty sure there's NOTHING available (to buy new) that looks the same   Sad
