may be it was done  , don't remember the link ,
black is a "passe partout" color my old 74 was black and you can put which wheels you want on the car and it looks good and same with chrome trim or not ,but it's the dirtiest color  and so hardly finished being washed we already see dusts above  Undecided

A few black Lookers come to mind... for me, it's Mike Martinez's black chop, Mark Ramirez's black '70, Greg Brinton's black '67, and Roy Maple's black '67. Funny... all cars are from my two favorite Cal Look clubs.

My old 57 oval rag, car was painted in 1984 by Pete Santini, this pic was taken in 2005, 21 years later. I got the car for my 16th bday in 1979 and drove it all around so cal until 1983 when I did a pan off and dechromed it full cal look style, dave folts trans, 2275 190hp, spanked lots of cars of the years. Mr. Richie now owns it.
