Any reason you chose to change over to pulley drive for the pump Andy ?

These guys get some good reviews for split rim spares - http://www.felgenfuchs.de

Don't list 7.5" but might be worth asking.

Thanks

Andy, my unit is about 5 minutes from Compomotive in Wolverhampton. If you order from them I could bring them to the Volksworld Show if they're done in time! Image wheels in Tipton are not far from where I work either!

hi Darren

1 to move it away from the rear of the car didn't want to smash it off
2 to help prime the fuel and oil before start up

and thank for the link I will be ordering the 6.5 as I can work with that as I have a lot of lips so I can make a 10" wheel

Neil - I didn't keep up to speed with it but I thought Compomotive went into liquidation a couple of years ago.
Your mention of them just prompted a search and they are certainly trading again - thanks.
Might help when I'm looking for spares for mine.

Andy - you say you don't want to smash the pump off. Is that when you launch, foot to the floor and point skyward  Wink

Cheers

I have a couple of Compomotive Dage's, the inner hoop of them are 195mm from the flange and out. I guess 200mm total with the flange thickness, I might consider swapping them out if you have something to trade?

It's amazing that you can keep track of all those radiuses and angles. Looks like you will have som binding in the peg that is pointing down from the hub. You are quite close to the Ford GT 40 layout, except the "A-arms" are reversed in the Ford. Only one way to find out I guess, keep it up Andy!! Top work!!

lol yes I do have stupid ideas but at least this on looks cool and thanks im very happy with the rear end Smiley

so a little update mange to hack so of the car out to get the special sequential trans in  unfortunately I made the rear end around the 930 box that was no use to man or alien as the ratios are all wrong for drag racing, I know I build it strong but it took me three hours just to cut out what was in the way, I need to finish part off again but its in im hoping 8 weeks until start up and then we can get some numbers

now it fits we can start to make thing happen and noises Smiley

cheers andy
