After work, yesterday, one of these. I thank the Berg brothers for introducing me to this fine brand of brew.
Anderson Valley Brewing (aka Boonville) makes an oatmeal stout that is very similar but much fresher and not so expensive.

Put away four Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA's tonight.... EXTREMELY good .
I bet you can't put away 4 Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPAs. They are 21% alcohol. It take me close to an hour to drink one.

I got lucky on that one, Bates... my sister recently stayed the weekend at my house with her oldest son. So, to show her appreciation, she left me a huge array of dark biers from all over the world. Made my day when I saw those bottles in there. I could only imagine how expensive that Samuel Smith is. I'm broke, right now so I'm diggin' these brews even more so. And after my long 13 hour day working at St. Johns Hospital in the Republic of Santa Monica... it's time for one of these:
Never had it before... but it's REEEAL good, right now.

Just tried one of these. Not my thing. 7,2 ABV and tasted like bread, yeast and a nosebleed.

After a long weekend of Newcastle & Stella it was time to return to normal workday drinking --- coffee in the morning & Diet Pepsi in the afternoon and evening. I tend to throw a Mt Dew back now & then too. Last night was Margarita night to honor the brave victors at the Battle of Puebla -- Cinco de Mayo !!! Now to get into the normal weekend of drinking Martini's --- or straight Vodka out of the freezer !!! Got some Tito's to finish before I start a new bottle of Kirkland.

I just spent a week in Portland, Oregon -the micro brew capital of the world. I brought back a smattering of really good beers. Tonight is a Laurelwood Brewing Workhorse West Coast India Pale Ale (7.5% ABV) An outstanding beer, very well balance of hops, malt and alcohol.

I've been drinking far too much of this local breweries ales recently -http://www.thornbridgebrewery.co.uk/index.php They are based out in the beautiful peak district and make some of finest cask ales i've ever had the pleasure of sampling. If you're ever in the area let me know and i'd be more than happy to buy any of you a few pints.
