If it's too fast swap the engine rather than the car. IMHO, that's one of the best '67s that has been built in this decade if not the best  Cool

Looks great! Somehow the painted headlight rings look better with full US spec bumpers than with t-bars.

Thanks, Tero... I like painted light rings with anything.

Tires will be changed to 145 and 195 (the current ones are too small & just for mock up). Wheels are beautifully restored by Al Reed to their original factory finish & paint scheme, thanks to Ian C. 4½" & early 6".

I looked very nice in the past, and now it looks even BETTER Mark.I like the fact that you one's in a while change the look of your car,(bumpers,t-bars,wheels,....)
so it makes it every time a different one.And I like this one a LOT!

I thought you might have been up to something with the wheels, after our chat at Nicks a couple of months ago.
You just can't beat that factory anodised finish!

I did that with my orange car, thirty years ago, too. One of the benefits of Cal Look VWs... very easy to make subtle changes for different looks.

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words. Since I saw my first set of these wheels in '67 on a white 911, I've always felt that this is the best finish for them. WAY easier to keep clean, too.
