Judging by all the Chrome and Full Bumpers in that Picture I Might not have had a VW at that time
You Should ask him instead of telling people he was a Club Member?? so dose that mean anyone hanging around the club is a Member? I talk to Gary Quite often I will ask him next time I talk to him, Was Keith Goss in the club? or did he just get stickers for the Photo Shoots??
Another great post by Shubee.

It's interesting how alot of Shubee's cal look cars had bumpers and chrome. Or were those photos of other peoples that you just said were yours. I notice you tend to do things like that. Maybe you should take the credit for the genesis of the resto cal style. And by the way, that engine you talked about in another thread that runs so great, maybe you can show us pictures of it installed in an actual car that you own....Maybe even a shot with you driving it...

Was Garry Berg also a DKP member?
Nope!!!
Were you there Shubee? did you even own a VW when those photos were taken? that was at the beginning of reforming the club, we were all friends and hung out. Some people had stickers and some did'nt, but we were all part of the same group.Gary B always showed up to whatever was going on, I don't know if he considered himself a member or not. Maybe you should ask him instead of answering something that you have no knowledge of.

My post did'nt say that Gary was a member, it was directed at you commenting on things you don't know about...LOL,LMAO,WTF,BFF

Well out of 49 VW's I have owned The Only Ones that you are refering to are the Blue 56 Oval, the Red 57 Oval, which I left the Chrome on, My 67 Convert, which I bought that way and my 69 Ghia Because Ghia's look better with chrome, they all had chrome moldings and had euro German Bumpers The Blue Oval was built on a Budget in 1976 was also in Hot VW's and is now in Japan,The Red Oval was built in 1978 Went to Japan, 69 Squareback built in 1981 Went to Japan, 69 Ghia was Sold And new Owner Totaled it,67 Convert was Sold three Times to Different owners was in Hot VW's and is still Driving around Huntington Beach,
Ok you Win
Theres (5) Cars I have Owned with Chrome moldings in the 38 years I have been in to VW's That Leave's 44 OLD School Cal Looks All With 70's Style NO CHROME with T Bars or Buggy Bumpers. And If The Body Was On The Pan on my Car I Would Put The Motor in And Show you that it dose Drive Like I Have Said In The Past I Have Nothing to Prove to anyone I was most likely Driving a Cal Look before you were Born"

This is the car that made me want gas burners. There is a pic of his car in the HVW Engine book as part of the article for the build up of his car. Such a cool car.
