there was a picture of this car with the blacked out trim and rings in VWtrends. it featured the car out in front of the firedepartment with the firetruck in the background. the guy was washing the car.
i like it, especially the pearlyelow...  Shocked yes i do. not the chromed and gold-adonized engineparts but all the rest looks cool to me.

I really like the 3/4 rear view. Very nice car.

I can remember Dave building the engine on the car. For some reason that car was exceptionally loud from carb noise. It would shock you when you goosed the throttle. Very mean car!
