Drums, in high school. But only because all the hot chicks were in the band. Unfortunately, I have no rhythm what so ever.

That's cool. I picked up a banjo a few times, but all that finger picking and the way the thing is strung... too hard.

Yeah drummers with no rhythm....  John Bonham comes to mind  Roll Eyes  (Sorry Rayburn) Grin

Don't worry, I can't really play it either.  Mine is really hard to play, maybe all the tenors are...but I think they're used a lot in Irish folk stuff, I think more strumming than picking like a 5-string we're used to hearing.

I have a few bass guitars.  I can fake it a little with those...   Grin

I played snare and bass in elementary school band, tired piano as a kid, then taught myself to play drum kit in high school. Horribly rotten garage band of snot nosed high school kids. Three of us, in the beginnings we had a zither instead of guitar, run through a water-leak detector to amplify and create distortion.

in the nineties I picked up 6 string acoustic and fumbled around. Wish I still had one to goof off with.

Started to play bass guitar in junior high. Still play every day. Fool around on the guitar now and then. Play the drums sometimes when i have the chance. I love music.

I played the drums for 3-4 years and I was actually ok at it. I got tired of the kit taking up all the space in my room, so I sold it. I am getting that itch again.

I bought an acoustic guitar, for cheap, from a friend. I want to take lessons but have not got around to it. I really want to do that soon. Instruments are a lot of fun.

Played guitar on and off for the last 16, 17 years or so. I'll go maybe 2 years without picking one up but then have a frenzy and build a couple from parts! My favourite at the moment is a replica of the Hendrix/Zappa Strat, just need to set the neck height before I can play it...
