They don't seem to be Remotecs, look at the center of the wheel, they look like japanese wheels but don't know if they made it for VWs.

JHU, what sort of center caps are supposed on those, what dimensions are they, where were they made, and were they intended for VWs?

Spotted these in Phoenix yesterday. In hindsight, I should have purchased them, only asking $200 for the set. But they were 14" Undecided

What are they?? I know I've seen them before somewhere, but I can't find anything right now.

Couldn't agree more KS!

I posted a photo of some Rudge wheels last year but nobody seemed to notice Roll Eyes

Picture 'em on a Split or Oval Wink

Of course price might be a problem Grin

I was luck enough to polish a set a few years ago on a superb black speedster - in fact its the same car that is in "Top Gun"  Smiley

I may be mistaken, but the car to which you're referring sure looks like a VW kit car (not a real Speedster) in that movie. Of course, the car was driven by Kellie McGillis.

Not a bad looking car, but the wheels and it's engine sound were a dead give away. It would be much better with proper looking wide five 356 slotted wheels (silver) and the correct nipple B hubcaps.

I'm surprised these alloy wheels aren't being seen on Cal Look VWs. They're not exactly cheap, either.
