Well guys I have been thinking long and hard about this BUT I am not gonna make it this year   :'(Basiclly it all come down to money - I really really cant afford it even if do tag along with someone else - Sorry guys There is also the fact that I am still having a few issues with the new set up which I am not going to go into now but lets just say I made a couple of mistakes and it cost me BUT hopefully everything is ok now and I am planning to get it finished and ready to race (and win in the Show'n'shine  ) at the UK drag day at VW Action in September. So sorry guys Monkiboy won't be making it this year but don't worry I'll be back in 2011 FOR SURE!  No one talking to me now I'm not comin huh Guess you didnt consider it might be that you supporting VW action instead huh?? cheers richie,uk |

ah damn, sorry to hear you are not coming, i just managed to get a few days off work around SCC just to make it. if i can get back on sunday or monday i am going. so who has a seat for me? DAS people who are going?
i am looking at airplane tickets as well, but then i'll need a ride to the airport...
i know it is all late, but i'll get there!
Pick you up tuesday evening,we got the tuesday midday ferry to dunkerque,then onto get you,you will just need a flight back sunday if that works for you? cheers richie,uk |

Important information about the SCC Taxi service!
Please post your arrival time at Gardermoen Airport in this tread and send a sms to +47 92 65 10 74 when your plane has landed!
The SCC taxi will also be available for transport to and from the SCC hotel , Quality Airport Hotel Gardermoen. Last departure from the event to the hotel will be at 22:00.

Also time for a reminder of the drinking/driving laws on public roads in Norway. Norway has very strict drink/driving laws, only allowing 0.1milligrams of alcohol per millilitre of blood, the strictest in Europe. The limit is very low (equivalent to a small glass of wine or half a pint of weak beer). Anything over 0.02 per cent and you could face anything up to imprisonment. At the SCC we will not tolerate any drinking and driving at all! Any signs of drivers being affected by alcohol or drugs will be reported to local police. This, of course, to provide maximum security and well-being for the attendants So drinking and driving: Don't do it! |

Hi just to be clear..! Some of us don't plan to bring any food at all. So if I have understood it correct, then we can buy burgers etc. from the food tent in the day time, what about the evening? can we still buy food there or what about the screwdrivers BQ like we did some years ago, the big nice Srewdrivers juicy burgers? The Screwdrivers Club will have their famous T-Bar-B-Q burgers for sale on friday evening. If you want something for saturday evening after dinner I suggest to buy some baguette´s at the food stand before they close. There will also be a grill available on Saturday evening for those wanting to grill themselves a steak or hot dog etc. Bang, all asphalt depots have been sold out for some time now, but we have gravel pits available. Who are not as bad as they sound, see my reply #164/167 in this thread. Looking forward to see you there!!! |

Anders Anders, there is not scheduled any car inspection at Friday, but as last year, if we have the necessary inspectors on-site Friday, and they are ready, we may start the inspection then. This will be announced if so. The tech inspection is scheduled from 08:00 Sat. and Sunday Berger |
