So what is the story behind this? How did you find these cars? Why did the guy have so many? Very cool find.

PRICES ARE GRAZY EVERYWHERE IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW. THE PRICE OF THIS OVAL, I CAN SAY....FOR SWITZERLAND IT WAS A BARGAIN..........WE TALK ABOUT  !!!!!!!! $ ( ITS UNWELDED, FIRST PAINT, FIRST INTERIOR, ONE OWNER & ORIGINAL ENGINE )

PS: THE SAME HERE. SOME PEOPLE DIDNT LIKE IT THAT I TOLD THE PRICE WE HAVE PAYED FOR THE OVAL TO THE REST OF ,, VOLKSWORLD,, !

Congratulations!  What a great find!  The price you mentioned, I would think, is more than fair just about anywhere.  Now to get them out and build them!

Good luck with your find(s).

So what is the story behind this? How did you find these cars? Why did the guy have so many? Very cool find.

the seller is 85 now and he just does not have any devisee. Thats because he decided selling all the stuff right now.

Actually he started with collecting cars & parts in the late 60s. Back in those days they chuck away cars with little damages & accidents and they didnt repair a lot because it was extremly expensive and for almost the same money they got a good used car.

In the early 80s there were still  a lot of good working splits & ovals around in switzerland and people gave their cars to young students and to junkyards for free................thats another thing how the old guy became a collector.

Today he knows he must speed up the selling because ,, father dead ,, is close and comes by one day / maybe soon.........thats because a couple of people became a hint that somewhere in HuhHuh in one of all the old barns must be a big collection. Someday a HuhHuhHuh of mine found out where the barn with the cars was located..............thats the story

PS: SAME HERE. I CANCELED SOME WORDS IN THE TEXT BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE DIDNT LIKE IT THAT I TOLD THE STORY TO THE REST OF ,, VOLKSWORLD ,,

PLEASE DONT ASK ME WHERE, WHAT, WHAT KIND OF MAKE AND YEAR ALL THE REST OF VOLSWAGENS HAVE......I CANT AND WONT TELL U
