Yes, JGE....Removed the JGE logos on the caps and replaced them with American Racing logos. It's been hard to stay motivated AND move forward without a job. |

Well, right now I'm waiting to hear back from Brothers. They have the car to do some welding on the cage and the backrest for the seat. I just finished the oil lines and a temporary mount for the JayCee oil spinner/manifold.

It will be painted and ready to run next season. Once we test fit the oil and fuel lines and do some more mounting, it is ready for paint. Paul Smoot is going to paint it (painted a number of the GFK cars) and once it is done there it is going straight down to WCC to have Lenny and crew install the windows and interior as well as do a full wiring job on the car with a new harness. We will put the rest of the car back together once they are done and have the chassis aligned before it hits any pavement.We are aiming to actually debut it Classic weekend, with the first time it being out at the DKP cruise that weekend. Then we will run it. I dont expect to blow any doors off in S/G the first year it is out I just want to make sure everything stays bolted together and we can get it running right. |
