It's owned buy a guy in Japan whose escapes me right now.. Volksworld did a featutre on his collection a year or two ago. He also owns Kris Klingaman's old race car and several others as well. If I remeber correctly, the cars have no engines but are otherwise intact.

Ask Stephane or Bill from the DKP. They saw it in personn during their Japan trip.
Akira Ueno is the owner of this car and many more old vw dragsters. He was at the European Bug-In 1 and 2 and is a very nice personn. He has a well known VW shop in Japan : BEE HAUS.

I had a very interesting, if somewhat brief translated conversation with him at EBI, a cool guy for sure and a nice collection.

.... and looking at the spec of that engine, no wonder it was geared as such. Wouldn't you love to throw those valve springs on a Rimac after a few passes....?
