Just got off the phone with Rick Anderson of "Here Comes Da Bug" I/Gasser fame today, that he and his brother Ron, will be at the Marriott Hotel next Saturday night (May 2) for the reunion. Rick is planning to bring his original helmet, driving jacket, Empi jacket and other items from that period. He has been completely out of the VW scene for thirty years, so this is going to be a shock for both of them. I tried to prepare him for the response! He also plans to bring some 8mm movies (some in car footage!), which has been converted to DVD and could be shown if the equipment is there. I haven't seen him since the last Bug-In at OCIR, but I have seen Ron since that time (but it has been years!). There is also some rumors of John Smith showing up, but I have not talked to John in person. Now, are You going?

Man, I wish I was heading down there this year... my dad bailed out this time around, so I'm skipping it. Will be at BOR in Sac at the end of the month though!

Yes I will have a lot more stuff this year including some of the old club T shirts and photos of the past. I had some T shirts made with the Ghia on it that will be for sale at the show on Sunday. I will have a booth near the DKP club.
