thank you very much for the kind words - we´d a blast that weekend!

The engine is 2840 (105x82) with eP heads and btw the run was with headwind that we had the whole weekend there  Wink
Tranny is Type1 Rhino case 3.88 r&p 1st & 2nd is stock (! ... and we´re sure that will break sometime) and short welded 3rd and 4th.

The car is full steel, no turbo, no nitro, no knick-knack ... just engine ... and the drivers are +/- 200pounds of weight and look as used as the car ...  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

A superb sight, seeing the brick flying up the track.  Smiley

The head wind was pretty strong.

The original weight is 1080kg. With the Type4 engine and the IRS axle I think roundabout 1100kg ... + driver = 1200kg  Grin and we drive it with 2 separate seats in the front ... the only "luxury" accessory beside the shift light (still running without tach ... no knick-knack at all)

Impressive!! Congratulations, seems to be a lot of grunt in it to keep the steam up thru the lights like it does!
BTW, you would have a good shot at the Bus award at SCC this fall...  Wink

My fave Bus just seems to get faster and faster! Here it is launching hard with the Pink Panther at last year's Das Drag Day. It ran a 13.1 on an unprepped airstrip Cool

we choosed that gear ratio because we thought that we would be faster at the end of the track ... but the aerodynamic resistance is really hard when you race a rolling fridge ...

"knick-knack" ..  Wink just kidding .. e.g. Spez is still the opinion that a tach would look silly at the dash .. so we still race using our butt & ears ...
