Such a cool looking Beetle Barry.

Thanks Coxy. Might put it back to stock and sell it soon, so if you know anyone in the market?

No worries Barry. I’ll keep an eye out for anyone looking for a rust free Beetle. As soon as you put it back to stock I can update your listing on Beetle.ie too.

Is the black one nearly done then? I do like a good late model!

No it's not anywhere near done but it'd make a better fast bug than the green one I can't cut for carb windows or removable valance  Wink

My ’75 1200 and first post here. Bought in 2011, started restoration in 2015, finished in 2022(lack of motivation and workspace).
Started an engine project for this winter to make a 1600/w110/36idf.

A friend gave me a tip on a guy with a few vw parts. As we settled on a price for the parts I wanted he walked me over to the other side of the property and show me his 80's custom beetle he found .. I remember it from back in the day he gave me a sweet deal on it and now it's mine (for now LOL) she's dirty and has a few scrapes but gonna buff her out and clean her up and leave her just they way she is  Cool I think my wife will enjoy driving this one around For awhile  Cool
