This is THE VIDEO which rought me to idea of big engine build. Maybe 8 years ago, student with empty pockets but I found money for my first 1600 DP Kadron engine... :-D

When I saw the title of this thread I knew it had to be the quaife test. Vids are blocked at work for me as well, but the comment about the OSV edits gave it away. I knew that I would have a car like that after I first saw that video in 02 and I will never get tired of seeing it. Showing it to people interested in cars was great because nothing but respect was given and they realized that VWs could be serious machines.

there are unedited versions out on DVD Mike & Suzy took to Euro Bug In with them awhile back and I hosted the disc image on my server for a few months so people have it out there... the DVD even had all the digital photos of the inside of the quaife & gearbox... those photos can be found in my personal site gallery http://sprintstar.com/gallery/main.php

Got to be the number one video for a gear head like myself , always make time to watch this clip and always will  Cool Cool
Many post footage of their own burnouts on here but none come close to Mark's Quaife test .
