just had a book in my hands with a picture in it of sumfun and a red car in front of it at the staging line. it seemed a nice car as well. but of course my brain can't retain info longer as 7 seconds so i forgot which one it was. i know it looked good...

it was a hardback book with some vw history in it and in the last section a couple of bugs from the states (80's stuff) there was that narrowed red beetle in it as well. (sure i remember that one  Roll Eyes )

Does this count? It started out as a cheap cal-look race car. I decided to have some stripes added. Now I am thinking about taking it back in the spray booth for some more color!

That must be the old black car. That thing looks bad!!! Cool

I think you should paint some 70s type door grapics. What did you have in mind?

Ok, don't know where to start. How about alphabetical order? Cool  Some of them are from magazines, some are from a friend of mine who actually WAS at the original Bug-Ins. They are never before seen pictures.

@Fabs: I am the DFL member who gave the pictures of Friar Tuck to Laurent "ElDub" Dubois.  Wink

Here we go (and check out the interior):

Yep, that is last years flat black car. I have some green metalflake paint left over from another car that I think would look good here and there on the car, just have to come up with a pattern.
