Should have posted this before for you guys from Europe. I know a few have been following my engine ever since I said anything about a turbo singleport on the other forums a few years ago.  Once I took off the holley 2 barrell and have been using the dellorto, the car has run much better, and I feel comfortable with running more than 9 psi.  Took it to 15 psi this past weekend. Still using a 73 stock irs tranny and 22 psi in my slicks.

now if the titel of the thread read   ( SINGLEPORT IN THE 11'S NA)  then that would be extremly impressive. a big SNAIL on top of a flat 4 engine defenetly takes care of any inlet hole speed bumps. IT JUST DOSENT CARE. deffenetly a cheap  way to go qwic using the slg ports an all. this is what your engine is saying. OH BABY CRAM!! IT IN OH YEA!! I LIKE IT!!.   congrats on your times  Wink. Raced 1/8 mile today and knocked off more ET and added more MPH to my 1/8 mile times.

I changed out my 28mm vents in the dellorto, and put in 33mm vents.  The 33 vents gained me 2.8 mph in the 1/8 over the 28 vent size.  Same 15 pounds boost.

Best et      - 7.529
Best Mph  -  96.23
Best 60    -  1.790

Car weighs 1850 with me in it.

As for my turbo set-up, it has the generic 1 5/8 turbo header sold by everyone.  40 x 40 valves, heads heavely welded to accept a golf ball size port, cam similar to a engle 120 , 82 x 90.5, turbo TO4E57  .63Stage 5

No my new clutch doesn't slip very much at all.  Its a stage 2 with a 4 puck.  The old clutch was a HD daiken with the stage 2, that one slipped nice, but won't hold the hp.  The 4 puck is very on and off.  I am not at all used to it.  I have not had a consistant 60 ' with it yet. I bogged the car into a bucking frenzy 2 different times and wound up with a 2.5 and  2.8   60' .  I stalled the car right from the  6000 rpm 2step  start another time too and got a 3.5 60'.    I thought forsure the stock tranny would have given up right there, but nope. Still going.  I have an anti shocker and will try to get it on before the next race so I can get consistant with the launches.   Plan 2 is to up my launch rpm to 6800, air down the slicks to 15 psi, and dump the clutch, then see how long the SSC tranny lasts.

went 1/8 mile racing today  I'm # 3293.  This is the best pass

This works out to a low to mid 11 second pass on 15 pounds boost .  I retarded my timing 15 degrees on the 2 step, so the engine could make more boost and pull the car out of the hole.  It worked on my last pass. I did no burnouts today either.   I did not put on my anti-shocker, as it is very large, and I need to be creative to fit it in, or put it on the pedals.

Kevin, you gotta open your eyes at the line!  Little old ladies driving Volvos do better than 1.066s reaction times.

....Its a .500 tree,  Roll Eyes     Any time I have ever raced has allways been .400 pro tree.  Racing here throws me for a loop.  The 1.066 seconds is really .566 reaction time, cause they include the .500 allready in the time.   Bottom line is though I suck at .500 trees.

that all with a stock tranny Shocked Shocked Shocked unbelievable....Huh

But i it looks like you have a smooth food on the clutch....stage 2 with 4 puck thatīs a lot for a stock tranny...But perhaps an irs tranny is stronger then a swing axle tranny?

Really cool..
