Got some NOS Bahama Blue fender (wing) beading from Rocket Ron.  Thanks Ron, I got it today and it is indeed Bahama Blue.  I will use this after I repaint my car.  I didn't think I would ever find some more of this.  Thanks again!

Yeah, they are hard to find.  I found some at that Classic over 10 years ago and I have them on my car now.  I will use these when I get the car repainted.

I got a pair of 36 DRLAs in the mail today. They were listed on eBay 'for parts only' as they'd been in an engine fire. One looked perfect but the other was blackened a bit and the velocity stacks were melty.

I won the pair for $128. This is how the 'burned' one looked after 20 minutes and some carb spray (the float chambers were perfect inside).

Ha! Well the cute lil' carbs are for my cute lil' 1600. I already have DCNFs and PIIs and I just got a line on a set of Italian IDAs but I have to spend my money on more pressing things like getting my pile of garbage ragtop on the road. The pan is just a spine in my garage waiting to go to the blaster's.

Thanks for the welcome! In my first post somewhere I blamed credited you for joining.  Wink

They're the best carbs for a 1600! I've got 40's on mine at the moment and they're nowhere near as good as my old 36's!

I'm going full-circle. I had a set of 36s but in '92 Dave Greiner said he'd give me a set of Berg DCNFs if I gave him the 36s and $50. I think Berg was so full of shit that his eyes were brown but I don't regret making that swap.

But I can't wait to run 36s again. Those that I had before were real sweethearts. I used to hate the Dellorto chirp but I'm actually looking forward to it. Makes me feel all nostalgic when I hear it now!  Grin
