Any stories, specs, info or pictures on this other influential DKP car from the early 70's? It was great reading all the info on Mahaffey's '51....let's move on to another cool car!

Thanks,

Well, here's a picture to start with. I just love the color, even if lookers aren't "supposed" to be metallic.. Says who?

That's the car that made me want to build a brown car!  I've only ever seen the one pic of it with slicks on Americans in the rear, and chromies on the front.

I think I almost bought that car. It was at a Chevron Gas Station in Tustin and the owner claimed it had been in HVW. I would have bought it from a subsequent owner. He want too much for my budget at the time. This would have been around 1977.

Hi Sarge. I am not sure if you are saying that tongue in cheek lol! They are not real ones, they are not even flat 4 ones. Like the car they are a copy.  However they pay homage to a great looking car and I wish I still owned it.  Grin

To bad the car has DKP decals in the picture. The first decals it had were Der Renwagen Fuhrers (DRF).  Dave Rhoads

Good morning Dave! So, is this an early morning visit or a typically Rhoads-style late nighter! How are things?
