Looking to buy two Kirkey Pro Drag seats with two grey cloth covers.

I cant find anywhere in the UK to buy them from? Any ideas? I would like them to be delivered within the next week as id like them in my car before the 21st of this month if possible but no biggy if not.

Also any ideas on how to mount them? I have a rough picture in my mind using the stock Kirkey seat mounts you can buy and welding up some tubing or box section to mount them too. Dont want to sit really low and i dont really want to weld the heater channel to the tunnel :S And i dont have the time scale to order the RLR mounts really...

Any pictures and info would be very helpful please.

These are the seats...

Thanks

Anybody dealt with them and is this a good price? Judging by the Jegs price id say it was?

Thanks Andy, by the look of the mounts I guess you`re a heavy weight  Wink Good thing you have more power than most of us soon.

Not quite sure but the stock seat rails are only spot welded to the floor. But saying that I guess if you roll and some how your seat ends up hitting the ground i think it would rip straight out of the floor? Altho I think the RLR Kirkey mounts mount to the floor?

Yeah danny I've never seen them in the UK before either. Gonna call that company tomorrow see what they say.

Did you get my message btw danny?

Spot welded or not, my kirkey seat is sitting equally firm now, on top of original seat mount/rail, as it was before I hit the wall in 170kmh. And my body weight is a 3 digit kg.

I'm going to use these Kirkeys -- with this mount I got from Carcraft in Riverside CA going to weld solid plate bar to bottom then bolt though floor with a another plate bar underneath for support -- this should be perfect for me at 120 KG

Call up Summit Racing and talk to Mike Chambers ext. 4579 -- --- he is a VW Guy and he will hook you up with whatever you need -- and might be able to get them to you in time!!!!

Those mounts are more like it!

Im sure i can make something up like that Smiley

Do you have to drill your own holes in the drag race seats or are there threaded inserts?
