2009 Lagunitas Brown Shugga (9.84% ABV). A 6 pack of these on a work night is a bad idea. Oh well. Roll Eyes Grin

Got a Beers of the World sampler for Christmas, so tonight I'm trying "Whitbread Pale Ale" from London. Label info includes; since 1742, highest grade malted barley, choicest Styrian hops. I'm finding it quite good, light and refreshing at 40F. What do you guys in the UK think of it?

Just walked in the door from work and paying the mortgage. Currently enjoying one of these:

Found 12 packs 'em on sale at Rite-Aid for only $11.99.

Go back one page. I am convinced Lagunitas can't make a bad beer.

Nice Mark... I went there today saw the same thing but they were out. So had to settle for standard Sierra Nevada.

   Worked for me  Yummy.

I have drank so many of those this winter, I'm almost tired of them. It seems they have been on sale since November.

I hear ya, John... but I've never bought this stuff before, so I figured I'd try just one 12 pk. My favorite Sierra Nevada is the light blue label... Porter, I think it's called. GREAT stuff! 'Bout as dark, maybe darker, as Guinness or most stout brews.

Cool, Jason... I'll always be a fan of the green Pale Ale label.

I got bought a pack of Wittards "seven deadly sins" flavoured hot chocolates at Christmas, and have been working through those. The Ginger one is nice, and the White chocolate one is superb. Not to sure about the 70% cocoa one though - a bit too bitter for me.

John,

Picked up two of those Lagunitas Stouts during lunch-looks like I will have a good evening.

I agree with you, everything I have tried from that brewery has been really good.  I need to go to Petaluma a hang out there.

I saw an extra hop ale by Lagunitas too-I wonder how that is?
