The older he gets the faster he goes Grin

How much faster does he need to go to be the fastest non turbo floorpan car?

Thanks,

If spray then the only correct thing is to compare it to turbo cars. Skinne and Håkan is the first two that I can think of. 8.02 - 288 kph pan car, H pattern gear box.

Kalle I think you must have missed this part?  Shocked Wink

They are not comparing it to anything different,  just what it actually is, I think everyone knows how quick Skinne's car went and how they did it Cool

Just seen this. Thank you for the words. It would be interesting to know the answer to the question to see if it is something that is possible to aim for.

My question wasn't really about what is correct, it isn't about being listed or recognised on a particular list or table, but, as Richie said, the simple question of are there any faster floorpan, non turbo cars out there.

Regardless this is (like the Hakan and Skinne cars) a staggering achievement.

Well done Bernie - and in a car that is super detailed and every time I've seen it, really well presented and clean.
(Or is that down to your crew  Cheesy)

On the subject of quick pan/nitrous cars, I might be totally wrong so don't shoot me down,  how about Kris Lauffers red vert ?

Thanks

Ok here you go then Bernie/Mark , your target is Roger Crawford 9.08@146mph in his ghia, next is Jeff rogers, 9.358@145.12mph, see here for details on that  http://www.badbugracing.com/

I cant think of any other quicker pan car than that, time to turn it up Grin

Yup well done Bernie!!

I was at the top end having just run my Fiat to a pb (for that car) and saw the run and the'old guy' jumping around like a teenager when he heard the news!!

He said he thought it was a good run as it made his back hurt on the launch...always a good sign ya 60ft is good!!  Grin

I think Dave in the 600 ran a pb 1st  pass too......11.44@129? on radials!!......we all went backwards then all weekend but had some good track time to 'try a few things'....

Bernie ran loads of 9.7s and a 9.6 I think and thought they all felt slow!!.... Roll Eyes

Glad I was there at the top end to share it with him.....it's a great place to be....

Looking forward to the next 'time'

Thanks Richie,

Just curious, is the Crawford Ghia actually a real pan car?
