Hereīs my 66. Year older than me but itīs in much better shape than me. It took almost 2 years to build.
Here is some photos of the project: http://vdubweb.net/auto1.htm (all text in Finnish, sorry)
This year Iīve been mostly working in the engine department trying to go under 13 sec at the strip.
Missed it by 0,06 seconds so itīs back to the drawing board and again long nights in the garage next winter.

I had to get my gaswire really tight to get the carbs fully open. Then to get idle to decent rpms I had to put this extra spring there. Pedal is quite heavy but I get a good calf exercise at the same time. Grin
