Amazing caliber of cars here! Very impressive. I just tucked my 63 ragtop in for the winter. Can't wait for the spring to enjoy it again!

Just gone over the whole car & done whatever needed doing really. Its been bare metalled & repainted, new wheels/tyres, gearbox, engine, cabrio lid, gauges, rewired, lost the towel rails etc. Everything but the interior really.

Hey Tom,

is that the '63 that was up for sale on Vzi ? where the guy had done a lot of work already prepping it for street and strip use....if so did you buy it as a roller with the close ratio race box ? What are your plans for your 63 now chap?

A mate of mine has those NACA ducts in his street n strip Oval and he drove it around a fair bit on the street and to shows etc and they didn't seem to get in his way  Grin

Close ratio box and a warm 1600 got me into the 15s, so you should find its quite nippy.  If you put sprintstars on it you want a slap tho! Wink Cheesy

Though it was a bout time I put a picture up of my Butternut recreation that I've been working on for a while.
I need to fire up the engine and test the electrics and then its off to the trimmers.

It HAS to be done for the Volksworld Show early next year...   Wink
