My phone was not correctly indexing photos when posted too. Sometimes opening the photo on your PC and rotating it a few times then saving it helps to get it right side up. Seems the the back of the garage should be stuffed with VW parts with two nice VWs parked indoors.  |

Hmm.. all redone as the painter, for want of a better word or phrase , was a thieving lying cu^t. Looks a lot better now. Just has mechanical ailments now  |

Fitted the Sprintstars up the other day after a refurb and detail (not bought the centre caps yet however).
I have a Talbot Berlin mirror to fit but it is missing the white mirror glass retainer, is there anywhere to buy the individual parts as so far I've only found complete units?

Have a look in da works section and look for pastel white 72 by Jez West, he did some work on his talbot mirror which maybe what you need.

Getting the wheels to look like that was a big pain in the arse. I spent months on them. Eventually building up to 7000g wet n dry paper and then ultra polish and extreme polish to finish. They last for a week or so before needing repolishing before I discovered that a coat of ACF50 gel protects the magnesium when the wheels are stored. I last polished them in July last year and they only needed a quick buff before the show at volksworld. They are now bagged up again.

 I've been meaning to put this up for a little while now, about two weeks ago, I finally picked up a set of gauges for the Fast Fab gauge panel I got last summer at El Prado, and got it all in my car. I gotta say, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, although I wouldn't mind if the little side pieces were more correctly sized to match the stock trim. Overall, I'd say it's a good investment for anyone with a stock dash who wants a set of the traditional 2 1/16 inch VDO gauges. |

That's a lot of unnecessary work gone into the wheels, everyone knows they look best au natural Digging the paint and caps, are the caps anodised? |
