Getting the wheels to look like that was a big pain in the arse. I spent months on them. Eventually building up to 7000g wet n dry paper and then ultra polish and extreme polish to finish. They last for a week or so before needing repolishing before I discovered that a coat of ACF50 gel protects the magnesium when the wheels are stored. I last polished them in July last year and they only needed a quick buff before the show at volksworld. They are now bagged up again.
Hadn’t heard about that gel- thanks! Glad that there wasn’t a quick and easy way to polish them that I had missed- such commitment- nice work! :-)

Your BRMs will thank me. You can ACF50 on ebay. A lot of people use it on their motorbikes while riding through winter, its great stuff.

Best colour green in the whole world (I like it anyway! ) Makes me wish I'd done mine that colour every time I see anything similar.

This one isn't Rogers old car. I imported it in 2000 before it was like this. Thanks gents.
Looking forward to sunshine and plenty of smiles and miles
Awesome ride! Looks great! Was this car ever state side? It sure looks like Roger's old car.

NICE. Love the clean engine bay. Is it intercooled at all?? Thank you! It isn’t intercooled (yet) but does have a water/meth kit hooked up to keep the intake charge cool. I’m thinking of adding a barrel type water to air IC to get the intake temps down even more. Here is the water/meth going to the intake.

Thanks. It’s been a dream finally come true. The throttle body is Jenvey 50mm unit. The ignition is handled by my EFI unit (SDS) and triggers an MSD 4al box. The distributor has been gutted and is only there to distribute the spark. A fair number of ‘modules’ are involved but works as it should, offering retard under boost, etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I haven’t dynoed it yet but would like to once I get the tune down. The SDS is great for its ease and simplicity; it’s a solid and reliable unit. But I’m thinking of upgrading to Fueltech in the next year or so to add a few more features for drag racing.

Brew66 - have any more pics of your 62? Beautiful car! What size tires do you have up front and are those BRMs I see on it?

Bean, Thanks I used some generic bolt in street rod brackets for now. This spring I will weld up some lighter weight ones.
I actually bought the seats used, but Corbeau makes brackets for bugs.
