Broen, if you can't stay at the track I know there are plenty of campsites and guesthouses close by. We've stopped at a couple of sites locally.

So real street is treads, two seats, no burn out, belt and the cruise

Yes, & the cruise is required for anyone running the street classes, "Modified and Real"

I take it there is no turbo or gas in this class ??

Each class has 2 categories, N/A and power adder so although allowed you won't be competing against it if you have a N/A car Smiley  You can still pair up and run against anyone you want to though

cheers Richie

Yep I'm out too as it doesn't look like my trans is gona be back in time. Gutted.

I'm not even bothering with building a trans. I'm hoping that no burnout and 15 year old tyres will compensate for 160bhp and help the stock '67 box survive!

And my RAC membership is up to date...

Edit: to do list added

Find distributor, coil and leads, exhaust gaskets and header nuts. found all except leads, also found and fitted clutch - kind of important...
Fit exhaust and ignition to 2007cc motor. had to modify cylinder head tins AGAIN to fit spark plugs! Arse of a job when the rest of the tin is already fitted...
Empty four years worth of crap out of the car.
Finish cutting back the paint.
Get ready for first MOT since 2013.
Fix whatever caused it to fail the MOT - not expecting a first time pass!
Take to the workshop and swap 1500 for 2007.
Fit carbs (hope they clear bodywork).
Fit tacho and rev limiter if possible.there's a tach already in the car! Bonus! Arse, tach isn't connected!
Been working on the lights - now only missing one headlight, one main beam, one indicator, one brakelight, all on different corners!
Also annealed the copper exhaust gaskets to fit tomorrow. MOTis booked for 9am but going to have to cancel it - rain has washed out last night and all but an hour tonight and I'm working on the drive...

Got to get it done - father in law has booked tickets, bought a tent, got grandson for the weekend!

MOT rebooked for Monday morning, all lights work but need new indicator bulbs as they don't show orange any more. Going to treat it to new wiper blades while I'm at it. Need at least one 145 and probably both rear tyres too - think I've got some over the unit but they might end up being commercial tyres on the back, so they should save the gearbox... Spending the rest of the day making it look presentable! Think the clutch cable tube has broken free of the tunnel too.

Cheesy now thats a good list!

I can beat the 2013 MOT, mines booked for the 7th at 10:30am and it will be the 1st one since 2009!  Cheesy Undecided

I've got front indicators and adjust rear bakes left. Possibly a bit more depending on how this week goes.

Keep pushing guys its going to be a good one  Cool Cool

That's a shame Dave, I was looking forward to seeing your car. By the time we got to Dragstalgia last year you'd got the header off for welding so I've still not seen it moving!

Drove my car over to my parents tonight for my dad to take it for MOT in the morning. Brakes are woefully bad, one hub gets hot so maybe a collapsed flexi pipe. Certainly need a front tyre changing so we'll just see what else it fails on. Then the 2007 can go in it and I don't have to worry about he slipping clutch on the 1500!
